...a dream and my cardigan.

Last night, I hopped off the plane at LAX with a dream and my cardigan. But, unlike Miley Cyrus, when I landed in LA, the dream was one that had actually already come true on my trip! One that I carried home with me.
Surprised at the airport by my sweet sister!
Tonight, my heart is full, I'm a little jet lagged, and weary in mind and body. I've flown half-way across the country, drove through 3 states and 3 time zones, hugged sisters in Christ I could have never met were it not for this beautiful thing called "blogging", and picked up some precious gems of love and wisdom along the way.

I am so excited to tell you more about my time at Influence Conference. It was truly such a special, memorable, and significant week. But tonight, my words are few. And I simply want to share something I realized last night as I sat in a 747 jet in the window seat, looking out over the darkness above the airplane's long wing. I marveled at beauty of the sun sinking below the horizon, still light in the West - a crescent moon hanging above in the darkness. And a favorite song lyric played through my iPod as I snapped this photo out the small window:

In whatever you are facing and walking through today - remember this.

"Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Where can I flee from Your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea,
even there Your hand will guide me, Your right hand will hold me fast.
If I say, 'Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,'
even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day,
for darkness is as light to You."
-Psalm 139: 7-12

I'll be back tomorrow with some thoughts on the conference and lots of pictures from the travels.

Love.
