You guyssssss. This place. (Insert jaw-open-mouth emoji.) It's like stepping into heaven.
I first heard about Col de la Forclaz through a blogger on Instagram, and when we realized we were right in the area, we spontaneously decided to take a drive up there on our evening in Annecy... it did not disappoint!
Col de la Forclaz is a mountain pass in the French Alps and the views are gorgeous!
One of my favorite photos of them, blurry as it is. Their "happy smiles" make my heart sing.
The little town was enchanting!
As we got out of the car, cow bells rang out from the rich, green hills above us. I felt like we stepped into a scene in "Heidi"!
We watched the sun set as the gliders soared down the mountain.
Breathtaking and peaceful.
We ate dinner at the sweetest little chalet. Memories made that will last a lifetime.
This place deserves a visit and a trip back! We only had a few hours here, but it's on our "go-back-someday" bucket list.
